Connect sub-devices through a gateway and verify cloud data quickly.

Overview​

This guide walks through connecting sub-devices via a gateway.

Sub-device Access​

Follow these four steps.

Step 1: Add a Gateway​

  1. Create a gateway device
  2. Configure connection credentials
  3. Confirm the gateway is online

Step 2: Add a Model​

  1. Create or select a product model
  2. Define properties, events, and services
  3. Publish the model

Step 3: Create a Sub-device​

  1. Create a sub-device under the gateway
  2. Bind the published model
  3. Save and confirm creation

Step 4: View Data​

  1. Ensure gateway and sub-device are online
  2. Open device details / monitoring
  3. Check realtime and historical data
